Not just obnoxious but also makes people incredibly snide and sneaky. Like I said yesterday I've come round to thinking it's the worst drug out there. Nasty stuff.
It's very noticeable when you visit pubs and go to football matches just how many people are on it. I've been at away games this season where I genuinely think at least 2/3 of people are on it and look an absolute state.
Makes me so angry with myself that I spent so much money on it over the years and that I couldn't see how terrible it was. Better late than never I guess though lol.
Yeah mate, like you say better to realise that now. You still see old codgers in their 50's up to the eyeballs in coke when you're out. (I'm in my 50's but you know what I mean, blokes of an age who should know better)
And yeah, as well as making people obnoxious it does make them little sneaks and snides. It also makes people really clucky because they just want more all of the time, and that brings the worst out in people.

I think there's more to Trump's election than simply letting men into women's changing rooms. Trump got elected on the back of his ferverent drive to chuck immigrants out of the US, a tried and tested copybook. Blame the foreigners for the problems that Govt have created. And he also got elected on the back of his notion that he was going to make America great again by somehow recreating an America of the 1950's where everything is made in America, by Americans and that he was somehow going to bypass the whole global supply chain, wage structure etc. And he also go elected on the back of empty promises about making everything cheaper for Americans, when the exact opposite is happening.
The Dems were weak in that election. The Biden and then Harris debacle didn't help them either. But they would have managed the economy (which was actually doing really well) and foreign policy much better than Trump is doing. We wouldn't have a global trade war, and the US wouldn't have a tanking economy. The men in women's bogs thing is a sideshow, yes it's an issue that needed addressing. But in the overall scheme of things, it was a small matter. If people voted for Trump on the back of that, then they are idiots.
Its not a small matter when you have school libraries that have books on giving blowjob instructions to 12 year olds.
And literal books that give young girls advise on how to eat pussy when they decide to become lesbians.
Books like these were in public school libraries all over the US.
Its also not a small matter if your daughter was one of the several hundred that have been raped in changing rooms by men cosplaying as women.
Knuckle draggers voted for Trump because of the immigrant thing, for sure, but a lot of normal, well meaning people either voted for Trump or DIDNT vote Democrat because the democrats were cow towing to these blue haired land whales who had been indoctrinated by sociology professors into thinking that being normal is bad, everyone is racist, DEI is a good idea and that "freeing the nipple" and being a disgusting slut is somehow liberating to women. Yeah I think they were all issues that need addressing. Not sure how many of those claims have been exaggerated though.
I just think in the context of the bigger picture about the economy, health provision (they now have a chemtrail anti vax health chief) foreign policy etc, that the specific issue you mentioned about men using women's bogs was a sideshow.
