I think we in the West should be helping Palestinians since we obviously have contributed to that misery.
But, I don't think it's right that we set a precedent that a scheme set up specifically for Ukrainians and their situation can now be used for anyone coming from a warzone. That's misusing the laws of the UK and that's not on. They should be going through things the proper way and not finding lawyers to poke holes in British law.
I agree we should help children, that without a doubt, with children come mothers or grandmothers or guardians, I leave that to the politicians. I'm not so comfortable with men, but that's just me. Palestinians are in a desperate situation and we should do something, as long as whatever we do does not create a problem for any of our citizens. So it's a yes, but with a word of caution in there, but I'm like that with everything in life.
Edit: I forgot to add they should not be coming here under a Ukranian scheme, IF that is what is happening, it should be a seperate scheme with whatver relevent rules need to be applied.
