Might as well let Trump have Greenland, Canada and Panama then. And any other county he fancies taking.

It’s the same mentality that people like Putin and Netanyahu thinks entitles them to take what they want when it comes to other territories.

Maybe Pakistan want to take the UK for themselves and resettle the English in France.

You don’t think I already know that ? So what makes it any different from Trump, Putin or anybody else doing it ?

Btw Putin actually wanted to join NATO and was encouraged to do so. But he wanted special treatment and NATO said no, you’ll join the queue like everybody else, so he threw his toys out of the pram and set about a course of invading other counties instead.

Wish he’d started with Yorkshire.

If Russia wanted to put a base in Scotland we wouldn't have it either so I dont see the problem with putin invading Ukraine to stop a nato base being put there tbh.
Well the difference is Scotland is part of the UK, so we get to decide what goes in it and what doesnt.
Where as Ukraine isnt part of Russia (Russia would disagree, I know the history with all that, with large ethnic russian groups in those areas of the Ukraine), so Putin doesnt get to say what goes in Ukraine and what doesnt.

A more apt example would be Russia wanting to put a base in the Republic of Ireland, and us not wanting it, so we invade the Republic of Ireland to stop it declaring that it is historically part of the UK.
Or Russia wanting a base in the Brittany area of France so we invoke our historic rule of Brittany to invade France.

I'm trying to comprehend what you are saying here, I get a bit of it, but the second paragraph has thrown me.

If Russia were to put a base in RoI I'm sure the UK would want something done about it, so why is Putin not right to prevent Ukraine having NATO on it's doorstep. I've never been convinced that NATO and the EU....yes EU have good intentions, I always feel there are other anti Russian agendas going on with them, often disguised as defence or trading partner. Everyone has an agenda that cannot be trusted.

oh I am sure they would, without doubt.
Am not sure we'd send an invasion force, with boots on the ground, though.

It's nonsense anyway mate...so we all Spurs tonight?

Dunno really. I am okay with them winning, as long as they lose to Newcastle in the final.
Will be interesting if we get a Toon v Spurs final, because both teams like to **** it up completely in finals and crumble to ****.
But if they are against each other, there has to be a winner.
Battle of the bottlejobs.

Yeah would make a change for one of the bottlejob teams to win the final, so I'm with you Toon v Spurs...but I think Liverpool will....well you know.

At least if Toon or Spurs did win, they could take the honour of winning the Mickey Mouse Cup, worth it just for the bantz on here.

Anyway back to politics....Trump is rattling on, on the tv, **** knows what he's going on about....he's got more orange and seems to have a lot of extra hair for some reason.

Broadly there are three categories of ‘pro-Palestine’ (anti-Israel if we’re being honest) ‘activist’. This is very much about society as a whole rather than anyone on here.

1) Those descending from the region or even just Muslims from anywhere which is absolutely fine and understandable. No different to Jewish people being 99% behind Israel whatever happens. Naturally I won’t agree with them but I get their view. There’s obviously a sub-category within that who are proper pro-Hamas / anti-West / just antisemitic but it’s important to make the distinction between those people and those with far more moderate views.

2) Anti-establishment wannabes, generally middle class, pretend social justice warriors who have decided the government is on Side A so they’ll be on Side B. Where the conflict is and between who doesn’t matter.

3) proper old school Jew haters. Some on the right but mostly we’re talking your Socialist Worker, self-declared “anti-racist” who has convinced themselves over decades that Jews control the world and various governments so this is a great outlet for them to froth about Jews under the cover of anti-Zionism. The PSC were organised and ready to protest by lunchtime on October 7th. They absolutely live for this ****.

A bonus fourth category for grifters who have used this to make money and get some level of fame online. Something I’d have some respect for if they didn’t secure the bag by encouraging frothing jew haters to froth but that is sadly what gets the most clicks and views.

Appreciate this ended up being a long post and therefore doesn’t deserve to be read.

I don't full into any of those westy

You often see men trying to cover it up, and I never understand why, because it just makes them look ridiculous, and yes as you suggest the second pic would be much more badass.

I remember when I was much younger there was some lad in his very early twenties, that just suddenly lost all his hair over a very short period of time, psychologically that must feel awful, but grown men should know better...accept it, you are old and age comes with its own form of beauty.

My older brother is going through it at the moment.
I am 41 and have a full head of hair, he is 43 and his hair was thinning badly, got to the point where had to just throw in the towel and accept it and shave his head.
Patchy comb-overs and ridiculous receeding hair lines are not a good look.
And besides, a bald head can look pretty cool unless you have a really odd shaped head.
