I just looked at Saf's link, you could buy at least 8 of those properties if you moved out of London, probably more. <laugh>

I don't know how anyone manages to live in London with the prices. I'm surprised Sucky is there tbph. I understand Archers being there, probably been part of the furniture there most his life - but I can't understand any youngsters today, wanting to start up in the City.....do what my family do, commute.

I am from Milton Keynes and now live in Leighton Buzzard, and my brother went to Northampton and he commutes to London 3 days a week for work.
He got a ****ing 4 bed semi for £360k in Northampton and is on £141k a year in his job.
Where I live in Leighton Buzzard, i'd be lucky to buy my 2 bed for under £350k, and Leighton is literally an hour from Northampton and the prices are so different.

jesus, I bought my place 10 years ago for 210k cash and its worth well over 300k now, and its only a frikkin 2 bed!
****ing southern house prices
Sell up and buy a castle up here

Mate no offence but just looking at that house and the street beside it, you could offer me 65k and I'd not move there<laugh>
Not offended at all. It’s nowhere near where I Iive. Don’t see anything wrong with it though for starting out.

not far from me there is a 3 bed semi with a big garden for £170k in what appears to be in good condition for just over £100k definitely could buy a 2 bed terrace though some of them are in areas which certainly used to be dodgy

I’m thinking you’re midlands for some reason?

Don’t like the guy but he silences them with this one. No answer.
