The travel cap down here is 7quid I think

You saying I won't pay more than 3 quid now no matter how much I travel in a day?

is that 7 quid on busses? isn't the cap like a 12 quid or something on the tube.

Not sure where the cap applies but i was told in my hometown this weekend it applied there (or maybe the maximum cost of a bus journey was 3 quid)

I doubt if there's any real farmers protesting in London today, only wealthy landowners. The actual farmers are too busy milking pigs or whatever

I listened to a couple of young lads being interviewed in head to toe Barbour waterproof gear about how their family farms would have to be sold to pay the IHT

Call me a cynic, but I think they were chatting absolute bollocks about that.

You can use three buses to complete your journey in London, and it’ll cost you £1.80. Dunno about the tube though, that’s quite expensive iirc. Costs me **** all though, as I have an over 60s Oyster. And back when I was a yoot no **** paid full fare, ever. So I win both ways, which seems only fair since I’ve been paying taxes since forever.

Had to be in London the other day so travel on expenses and a yute was clearly waiting for someone he could follow through the barrier. We both knew what was up. A victimless crime.

Those journeys at the 1.80 cap only last an hour. On a bus in London at rush hour that's about 35 yards worth

When I was in London last month I was in Brixton and overheard some bird talking to her mate saying something along the lines of "Nah bruv I'm just gonna risk it cos the barriers are down most the time init. You know me fam I never get caught for nothing"

Last line made me laugh as they were wearing a tag <laugh>

Just watching this argument on TV between farmers and an accountant, she just called the accountant a marxist. <laugh>

Lol, the figures from HMRC show that less than 500 farms would be liable for IHT

and even then it's only at half the rate of what everybody else pays

That doesn't suit the poor farmer will have to sell their farm, cows and children to survive agenda though.
