Probably worth noting that the mix of nationalities of Spanish illegal (soon to be legal) immigrants is very different to the Yooookay and other big European countries and they speak the language and are culturally starting from a closer position to Spaniards.

I think you've tried to add words that I was lost for and got it spectacularly wrong. I choose to read something, and need to digest what is being said - regardless of the type of story (so not just muslims) I will try to what I see as reverse engineer what's going on, in other words see the story from all sides...
Maybe even mentally role play in ones head what is going on, ie such as recent ICE events, see it from all angles and see what evidence there is to support a theory. Sometimes putting scenarios, not ones I have a thought on, but to see what people's theories are.
To be perfectly honest I've never known a bad muslim, but I've known plenty of bad Christians, thieving little ****s is the first thing that springs to mind there - although that latter bit is because I don't really even see them as Christians, I see them as white feral kids.
The problem is a lack of accountability for ones actions. Now let's take the guy in the Birmingham article, young people are easily influenced because like all extremists, so I'm including the far right in this as well, they want someone to blame for the way things are. You sell them a model that demonstrates how things could be better, without actually coming up with any realistic answers, choppy choppy is not an answer.
It all starts with bad parenting. We live in a culture where parents will blame someone else rather than look in the mirror. When you go down the path this country has been going with law and order, and discipline, you are opening the door for extremists to come in and make things better. ie Farage and the migrants, excellent example. A failure of the system, by the very people that Farage is now bringing to his party.
Whether you are a Christian or a Muslim, Sikh, Jewish the young are influenced by the behaviours of their elders. They are influenced by the environment they are brought up in, so if you allow social media to teach them it's ok to be a ****, that's what they will be ****s.
Anyway back to that man in the Birmingham article, he should just be banned from standing, this is not difficult. Nothing wrong in being a community worker to stop kids following in your path, but if his background is true, then it's down to the law makers of this country, that is the problem, not the individual themself, until and if they over step the line again.
TLDR
But of course I can't truly understand the situation because I don't live anywhere near Birmingham. So I'm not really experienced to talk on any problems within the area.

We’re all talking about Iran which was by all accounts great country back before the revolution pre Muslim rule
