How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

What’s this Tommy march about in London today?

Is it a protest about anything in particular, or do they just fancy some exercise wrapped up in Welsh, Irish, English, Scottish and Union Jack flags?

Why is there Irish flags there? What’s that all about? Worlds gone mad.

Does anybody have a tip for the 2.25 at Doncaster?

Are you still behind the gaffer or do you think a change in leadership is now required? Honest question because it doesn’t look good.

Well we always knew Starmer wasn’t exactly charismatic. He’s not good at articulating a vision or any of that message stuff that Blair was a natural at. Plus he’s made a few unforced errors - should never have gone near Mandy ffs.

Labour are doing some good things, but none of that gets any attention in the media. A more charismatic leader might help, but a leadership contest definitely won’t.

Think we will see Andy Burnham come back as an MP ready for the next GE.

It was a youth pastor that handed him in. His father encouraged him to hand himself in.

The environment he grew up in is irrelevant.

If he’s right wing why did he write words like Fascist and use Antifa quotes like Bella Ciao?

The father contacted the youth pastor to help talk the son out of killing himself - which he said he would rather do than surrender having confessed to the father - once that was done they both handed him in...

Almost every London team is at home or in London today across the leagues. Fun day for all involved.

Lots of conspiracies about the fixtures and the patriots march 'coordination' ... also that Forest and Leeds are both in town ...

Given the timing of the games - a spread from Lunchtime to 8pm - there will be thousands of fans in central London throughout the entire day ...

Police leave already cancelled for the march ... and anti-march ...

What could possibly go wrong?

I laughed when I heard he also wrote "if you read this you are gay" on one of them. I've no sympathy for Kirk at all, spouted hatred to make money, and got what he asked for afaic.

****ing hope this lot behave themselves in London today, both big marches by the looks of it. Protest peacefully and it's not a problem, if you want a punch up just piss off out of London. These numbers on both sides look concerning, so the cops got a big job on, goodluck to them.

See mine above ... one of my daughters is currently getting ready to go into London for a students pub crawl ...

Not only briefed her on the marches but also the locations of all the London footie games and timings ... would prefer they all give it a swerve ...but they won't - hence the 'team talk' ...

Yeah I'd give it a swerve today, Charlton v Millwall on as well, early KO. So expect some of the Wall will go over after the game. Although I don't know what time these marches are timed to finished.

TBF, the Charlton / Millwall game shouldn’t get anywhere near central London as they are both South London Clubs and I would be surprised if there were too many West Ham fans in the touristy part of London.

She'll be staying at her boyfriend's tonight in Mile End!

I'm more concerned about the time after they've officially finished tbh ... they'll be smaller groups in pockets not wanting to disperse etc...

They'll be fine mate, they'll use commonsense. Just don't wear anything that says which side you support...

It’s the only way the boats will be stopped. Some brave soldiers will spend a night in the cells after eight pints at The Euston Flyer and for that we all owe a great debt.

I think they’ve done him wrong, tbh. He’s more than likely going to get the death penalty or spend the rest of his life in jail taking a few beatings along the way, so he should have had control over his own death.

Probably hoping that by voluntarily 'handing himself in' he'll get his sentence commuted - don't think they've fully factored in a vengeful Wiggy the Blimp ...

I'm with you on this, he should have just topped himself. Only 22 and his life is not going to be worth living now.

An irrational choice by an irrational age, and unfortunately the availability of guns compounds that. Seeing photos since of him handling various weapons, don't help these kids to make rational choices.

I think a lot of men have been there, it's just whether you follow it through and have the resources to do so. Although we are seeing more and more gang related gun crime in the UK.

My only gripe in all this, they never take out the ones we would all like taken out, Trump, Putin, Netty.
