No, you’re debating that because you’re utterly desperate to deflect attention from the rotten state the Tory vermin got the country into.
Trying to clear the Tory mess up by making more of a mess himself (with Rayner and Mandelson) We need a new cleaner.
I think the ideal solution to all this is to let Trump meet Charles in the grounds of Windsor, and for Andrew to turn up to the meet. Then send in a SWAT team telling them all the people in the grounds are imposters and must be exterminated. Obviously this is a joke as I don't want a swat team at my door... please log in to view this image
So just conjecture then? ... Starmer would have been briefed by civil servants and possibly ministers during the appointment process ... based on the information available at the time ... ...what's not really at issue is 'why' ... that was unquestionably down to the 'positive relationship' and 'familiarity' that Mandelson had with Donald J Trump ..
During his terms as president he has probably been caught up in at least two dozen scandals that people would have resigned in shame for in the past. He doesn't resign he just shrugs and keeps going.
The problem is. Everyone in politics is corrupt. Few people go into politics with a clean heart and those that do quickly muddy them. People often look back at Greece as the founding of democracy and it's golden age but fail to realise. Greek democracy was by sorti for many positions. They didn't have career politicians, most positions were elected by drawing their name out of a hat. Could parliament really be that much worse if everyday people were selected at random rather than people with an agenda and deep seated corruption make a career out of it? I don't know, but I'd like to see a two house system somewhere with oversights of each other. One really being a house of commons selected from real commoners and the other elected.
Just said: Number 10 were warned of the security concerns regarding the appointment of Mandelson, but those concerns were over-rode. Security services said we did do our job properly we did warn them. So now the question is were these concerns passed to Keir Starmer and if not why not. Something well dodgy gone on if these concerns were kept from the Prime Minister, considering the concerns around Mandelson and his past associations. My thought is who else is on this payroll covering the back of Mandelson. How deep did Mandelson's aquaintances go within British politics.
There was a question raised about this this afternoon, but I didn't catch the full detail of it, but it went something like, has he actually been sacked, or was he just removed from the post so they can bring him back later. I can see why Starmer wanted him, because he was Labour but came across more as a Tory, which would appeal to Republicans and of course his past connections. This is the problem with centric politics as I see it, the air becomes polluted. I much favour centrism, but not Mandelson ffs, he was feathered in with all the peados.
First image has a strange blob on lower part of face which prevents clarity... but second one suggests college / uni possibility IMHO ... sweatshirt quite distinctive ...
