Elite airport. Nando’s in the good terminal, Black Sheep Coffee, Ted Baker normally have a sale on. Terrific airport. The Beaconsfield Services of airports.
FFS ... turned it into the sort of diagram you find in a Butchers... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/09/09/st-georges-cross-appears-historic-white-horse-landmark/
You’re right. It closed at the end of last year. Oh well. Nando’s is good as an airport option. Not where I’d choose on the high street but it’s decent if you order right. See also Wagamama’s.
Read that Richard Burgon, the wettest of the wet Labour MPs, managed to get the date wrong on his vote for the deputy leadership and therefore invalidated it. Fat gimp.
Good company. I might invest in one of them coats for winter tbh. We get discount up here if we know staff there which a lot of us do.
I can't believe that more hasn't been made of this Mandelson association with Epstein. Especially with Trumps state visit coming up. I read something that tried to dimiss it because he was gay, what the **** has that to do with it?...you'd be as guilty as any other regardless of your sexual preference, afterall, do we know everything that was on offer, probably not. So with Andrews association and Mandelson this is right at the core of British politics, establishment, saying now you wished you never met the man don't cut it with me. Maybe explains the reason why a lot of child abuse goes uncovered until much later, normally after their death. Take Saville as another example, at the core of British politics with Thatcher. and let's not also forget who Ghislaine dad was, again at the core of politics and the media. If this nest ever gets uncovered we can be certain of more well known names coming to light just within our own country.
Reform are killing it. The polls have been consistent for months now. It’s starting to look like it would need an implosion to keep Farage from being our next PM.
I’m sure there will be more to come for the Gay Lord and others as this slowly drips out despite attempts to cover it up. the key ones being Trump and Prince Andrew for me.
I think if there were an election tomorrow I’d still vote Labour, for the MP more than the party and in this seat it’s a bit pointless anyway. If I’m feeling that way then it bodes pretty badly for the places that do matter. Realistically it would be a hung Parliament then **** knows. An awful long way to go to having to worry about it and lots will change but I think it’s realistic that we get to a point where Reform/Tory/DUP have a very similar number of seats as Lab/Lib, neither have quite enough and all sorts of nonsense has to be thrown into the mix like the SNP, Plaid, Greens, Hamas-loving non-independents. Imagine the absolute bants/chaos/rioting if Reform got the most seats but couldn’t form a government.
It’s a strange time in UK politics. All the noise is about Reform. Do I trust them, nope. I don’t know what the solution should be. I like Andy Burnham, he must be plotting a return if asked by Starmer? Him stepping away to Manchester was a smart move at the time.
They'll prob end up getting most seats in a hung parliament and then get into coalition with the Tories.
