A drop in the ocean in terms of savings, but cutting it will affect some of the worlds most vulnerable people, like kids in war zones who rely on it for food and shelter. Or providing safe spaces for women and children, healthcare to places where preventable diseases would otherwise cause unnecessary deaths. The diversity and lgbtq stuff is just culture war nonsense designed to appease knuckle dragging red necks. It doesn’t save any real money. Trump is going after education and health research next. Funding for universities looking into cures for cancer and funding for ongoing health research programmes. That’ll help Americans….. You do realise that he’s making these cuts so that he can make good on his tax cuts pledge right ? That is designed to benefit the wealthy and businesses. Not your average American who’s struggling to pay the bills, which are likely to go up under his tariff regime and get this, even his most ambitious funding cuts still won’t cover anywhere near what he’s proposing in tax cuts and has been projected to add another $4.5tn worth of debt.

One of tjhe issues I have with twitter, nothing is date stamped. At least if you pick up a tabloid you hope it's recent news and the date on the front of the rag is correct. But with twitter, they can post a video from a month ago, a year ago or even longer, and unless you are prepared to check that, then the people that are posting it, can continue to post the same **** over and over. Also another thing I find with twitter is the amount of wrong claims in headlines, yes the tabloids do that as well, it's click bait. I just tend to try and question everything, so for example when did it happen and how can we prove that, and what were the claims and how do we verify them, not just to say it actually occurred but what were the precise claims in there and do they match. The recent one you posted with the child abduction, was at least one month old, even though it was dated the day you posted it. Were the claims true, by and large yes, but the actual charges were different ie sex with an underage girl....although I don't remember seeing a charge of abduction or rape. It don't make it any less wrong, but people are trying to stir up hatred with it, and if you saw one of the sources going back that I did, people from Bradford were speaking out about what the guy had done, yes including muslims, he's one individual out of a population of 546,000 I'm sure over the last month Bradford has seen crimes like most other cities of a heinous nature, and not by brown people or muslims, as most the clips often like to allude to.
What I find worrying is that the same kind of misinformation that Sucky gets hoodwinked by, is also swallowed by Trump and Musk. In the same week that literally had Trump putting out a wildly inaccurate presser about Condoms to Gaza, and you also had Musk retweeting the Birmingham hospital story, which turned out to be a still from Batman ffs. It's like nobody in the White House is checking the details either and will believe any old **** that's put under their noses. Putin knows this and it's why he's been actively courting Trump for years, because he is easily manipulated. It looks like it's working for Russia too.
