Hope is an emotional temper that emboldens the heart to be active, it is a condition, a mood, an aura of being. It is a feat of the imagination, both courageous and ingenious, a vitality that inspires us to take innovative action to defend the world. Hope is essential to our survival and our flourishing.

We achieve this vitality of spirit by rejecting the relentless promotion of despair and opening our eyes to the beauty of things, however imperilled, degraded, or difficult to love the world may appear to be. We try to view the world not as it is packaged, presented and sold to us but as we imagine it could be. We do not look away from the world, we look directly at it and allow the spirit of hope - the necessary driver of change - to inspire us to action.
Don't ignore my hippy **** y'twats. @PISKIE :emoticon-0152-heart

With you... apart from the fact that I'm deeply concerned for my kids ....
You should be.

On Census Day, 21 March 2021, the population of Leicester rose to 368,572. According to the report, 42% of Leicester residents were born outside of the UK with 43% of the population arriving in the city between 2011 and 2021.

Article on yhe BEEB today ... shows just how far back the authorities were ignoring despicable vermin in our society ... these ****s formed during the era of Thatcher government... and several may still be working with kids even today ... words fail me...

You are desperate to shoehorn Thatcher into all of this.

This was the liberal left and Labours very own Harriet Harman.

How *****philes infiltrated the left and hijacked the fight for civil rights

A 1970s campaign to lower the age of consent has returned to haunt Harriet Harman, Patricia Hewitt and Jack Dromey. But in such a liberal climate, it wasn't hard for a small, determined group to exploit a commitment to free speech

No more 'desperate' than you've been to shoehorn in Blair and Brown ... and it wasn't either of them that personally lobbied for Jimmy Saville's knighthood ...

I'm happy for there to be a national enquiry going back 50 years to leave no stone unturned ... but this needs to be done separately to implementing the recommendations of the Jay report, which need to happen right now for immediate better safeguarding of our kids ...

Everything people are posting about Labour MP’s, councillors and police forces is backed up with evidence. Whistleblowers have come out and spoken against them and how everything was covered up.

So far about Thatcher it’s only you making the claim without a single shred of evidence she was complicit in any cover up. If you post up the evidence you will completely change my mind about her.

You did indeed - but the BBC article came out today - and the highlighting that some 'members' may still be in roles that bring them close to kids is mind-boggling...

Gordon Brown earlier this week publicly refuted any claim that he'd issued any instructions, verbal or written, for police, local authorities or social services to ignore any incidents or cases because of race or religion - yet you've claimed more than once that he needs to be enquired into 'without a single shred of evidence' that he was complcit - so what's the difference? ... other than your political leaning?

Starmer just mopped the HofC floor with poor Kemi - she's very much out of her depth ...

The fact the Tories didn't foresee this happening is insane. Very clear this woman was in no position to lead the party.

She is woefully behind Starmer and Farage.

She just doesn't seem very well briefed ... he was waiting in ambush and she rode right in every time ...
