Who ran this place before brb?

HIAG?

Syd used to run this place, Sunderland fan, went and set up his own website I believe.

I came over the same time as everyone else in 2011, this is my second account. When I came over here, I brought 50+ Gills fans with me, I used to run a prediction league on the old BBC606, so carried that over here. Trouble is my concentration got worse and I gave up running the league over the years, fans then moved on, some died, over time, mainly to twitter and one other site, and there is now just a handful of us left on this site now.

This is the only forum I post on.

TLDR

But cheers anyway.

How on earth did you manage to find 50 Gills fans?

It was probably more than that at the time actually. BBC were mental to close down their place, thousands of fans searching for somewhere else to go.

I'd looked at a couple of forums before this one, to move to, but someone on the old BBC606, told me about this place and said he'd have a word with the owner to mod me for the Gills board if I came over...and the rest is history.

I missed an opportunity as it happened a couple of years back, a large Gills forum went tits up, and they were all looking for another site, hundreds of them Archers, fooking hundreds lol - but I couldn't be arsed.

Hmmmmmmmm Ponky who left London to move to Cornwall so he could surround himself with white faces

Actually moved to Brum when I first left London.

You should have seen some of the hotties last night Douglas, you would have been in your element. Girls from Spain, France, Dominican Republic and Cayman Islands.

Worth doing that gig just for the women lol.

It's like that round here.

I'm a walking nudge in the shorts, don't know where to look half the time.

Leaving later though, and back to bland covered up British women.

*I should also say, there are also some shocking sights but the pros outweigh the cons by a good deal.

I would have been in heaven

But being married and way past retirement age it probably would have been more like mental torture

Best thing about the Olympics is seeing all the fit young women doing sport and of course for the women there are all the fit young men from all over the world

Im very much married too. Back in my single days I would have been on the charm offensive, but these days it’s just pleasant chat, mild flirting and admiring what’s before my eyes

I think the day you stop noticing this stuff is the day you might as well chop your cock off

<laugh>

Of course I don't.

Only Sucky reads them, he just pretends not to. It's a confidence thing.

I've been waiting years to play the TLDR reverse card on brb. He gave it to me with an unsolicited Not606 history lesson.
.... think " Sucky reads them..." may be stretching it - looks at the big words for some time, shakes head, moves on ...
