If we have to loan another keeper n it means HBA or Ramirez will be out of the match day squad. We could possibly have to send one of them back, I'm not sure on the rules in the premier league, I know there's a limit of two domestic loan, but I doubt it would come to that. I hope not anyway!
They count as normal loanees in the football league, but I've no idea about the premier league, I can't think of an instance where there's been an emergency loan in the top flight, let alone with two domestic loans already in the squad.
Don't think McGregor will be much longer. Harper said last week that McGregor was already back training and breathing down his neck, but Arsenal would come too soon for him.
Either way it sounds like Harps will be out for a while so The Jak will no doubt start for the next couple of weeks until Griggsy is fit. If Brucey is ok with The Jak short term I suspect we'll see Griggsy back after the next international break hopefully fully fit
The last time I remember this happening, was when Man City lost Shay Given to injury and they couldn't recall Joe Hart from Birmingham, as he was on a season long loan and Brum paid a large loan fee to avoid a recall clause. They loaned Marton Fulop from Sunderland instead, but I can't remember how many other players they had on loan at the time.
I just wonder whether McGregor might me recovered enough to be on the bench if Oxley can't be recalled?
P Buckingham just tweeted Allan McGregor not a million miles off a return but unclear if he'll be back for Liverpool this weekend.
BBC Humberside Sport ‏@HumbersideSport #hcafc have confirmed they're unable to recall goalkeeper Mark Oxley from his loan at Hibs.
Cracknell was in the Scarborough first team last season, does that count? At most it would only be for one game, assuming Mcgregor is on track.
I doubt we'll get anyone in if it's only for one game(or if McGregor s back), I suspect we'll see Watson on the bench on Saturday.
In a way it is lucky we are only playing Liverpool and Southampton next up - two games we are not expected to win (though I do fancy getting something at Anfield). And I thought Jak did well on Saturday.
