we need another striker but should we keep torres as well? he has been improving all season and showed last night that he is a big game player

On his wage I doubt he will be going anywhere.
He is probably worth another shot but he has to improve in the league.

We have been extremely fortunate that he didn't get injured. Having just 2 strikers is ridiculous.

he has showed signs of coming good and his work rate has improved
if he keeps it up I would be happy to see him remain at the bridge

He's adapted his game now. When he was on really poor form he was still trying to be the old lightning fast Torres. Now he drifts wide more and a little deeper. He has realised that he cannot play off the defender's shoulders any more.

Still lots to improve on though, first touch and finishing. He is stronger now, though and seems to have really improved on bringing others into the attack. His instinct for where forwards should be (like where he used to be) is great and means he now creates chances for others.

Good summary, he is much better as a team player now.

Lukaku is the way forward to me.
19 years old, playing like a boss. in 2-3 years he could be better than Drogba.

My one issue with Lukaku is the lack of European experience. I think that could force the boards hand on another loan. Hope not though. I do hope Fernando stays - cant help but like the bloke.
