Yes, they would however as you said it did not rise to the level of criminality. Lets use your example though. If that person was accused of walking down the street smashing all the windows and then got found not guilty by judge and jury for breaking the law but then still had to pay to get all of the properties fixed it wouldn't be considered fair. Now I understand in this particular example there are a lot of variables for example smashing the windows without breaking the law somehow but lets take them out and say that person was accused of breaking the law by doing that. That to me is a similar scenario as Terry I understand the kick racism out of football campaign and they did the right thing with Suarez, whether you think he is guilty or not is irrelevant, its up to Judge and Jury to decide that and then the FA to take there own punishment if found guilty. You can't punish someone for being found not guilty though, the FA are saying he had intent but I don't know how they can read his mind
Doesn't matter, if there is something wrong with the law system, its the law system's fault. You can't take the law into your own hands and I am a firm believer in innocent until proven guilty, they were unable to prove that he was guilty I don't think thats a good idea to bring that up
Was that teammate a Leeds player? He and Ross got into it last season, Ross seems okay with him, what does that tell us?
I'd like to hear your definition of "support". It seems to be blindly backing everything that happens at the club whether you believe it's in our best interests or not. We can't sing nasty songs about Bates because the players might be upset, all our players are perfect misunderstood angels because they play for Leeds, any player who leaves us is a ****, our wonderful manager who will be with us for one, obviously wonderful and perfect, season is incapable of making a bad decision. It's not about what's "supposed to be", it's about what is. Children look up to their favourite footballers and will inevitably try to be like them.
It's not inevitable at all. What you're effectively saying is any youngster who admires Diouf the footballer will feel the need to glass someone, drink drive, spit at people and threaten to stab a teammate so as to play football like Diouf. A sweeping statement.
Oh yeah? And I suppose George Best inspired a generation of alcoholic womanisers who couldn't be bothered with football? And Gazza inspired a generation of self-destructive alcohol & drug abusers? I think not.
Simon When did he glass someone, because if your talking about the incident in manchester, he didnt glass. People like simon make me sick, barely goes to a game, and wont back players who are playing for the club. hildren look up to their favourite footballers and will inevitably try to be like them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lets blame everything on footballers. only role model ive had is my dad.
You try going regularly while living as a student over 200 miles away. Diouf is the only player I won't back individually, because personally I don't think he deserves the privilege of playing for Leeds United.
Can you provide any evidence to back up this libellous nonsense? How do you know it wasn't Ferdinand, who he was with in the nightclub? They seem to have made up. Simon, you're so uptight
All becomes clear. A pimple covered tax dodger with no clue about life............ You should have said earlier, it explains but does not excuse your stupid naivety and idealism. Perhaps you should get some life experience before posting drivel
Not going to lie, I've never really liked him...think it's because of his ridiculous hairstyles, like those dreads he once sported. That's a viable reason not to like a player, right? Dodgy barnet?
Don't particularly think that's fair on Simon. I'm a student too, and can't get to many games these days either. You haven't had a go at me on the basis I don't disagree with you. If I disagreed would that make me stupid and naive with no life experience?
From a Spurs fan - I was at the Forest game as my best mate is a Leeds fan. I thought Diouf was quality and your best player. Again v Everton he really put a shift in plus also showing undoubted premiership quality. I think as long as he does well for your team then surely that's good enough? Anyway good luck for the season, would be great to have you back in the premiership next season where you belong.
I thought we'd got rid of this kind of bigoted ****e when billyboy got banned, ah well. Idealistic? Possibly. Naive? I'd say someone like you who blindly supports every decision the club makes is more guilty of that than me. And I have perfectly good skin, thank you very much.
It would make you a tax dodger. if you disagreed with me it would make you wrong. If you had the ridiculous sig simon has that would make you stupid.
Gary says you have face like a sheet of bubble wrap. BTW do you ever realise when your leg is being pulled?
