Recently won the award of best blended whiskey in the world.

I’m not a big whiskey drinker. Don’t mind a good single malt now and again. I can’t stand those peat smoked whiskies .... ugh horrendous stuff.

Just find that peat smoked stuff too overpowering.

Try a peated one from the fridge and into a glass that you have run under hot water, the change is quite mad. @Tobes have you tried that?

 

Can't say I have mate. I like a peaty single malt over a couple of ice cubes, that I leave to melt before I drink it. So possibly very similar in fairness

 

... the chances of Tobes being that sophisticated .... or even waiting for that length of time once he's opened a bottle ... come on

 

I did a whiskey tour and he gave me the peated one and I wasn't fussed then he pulled the same one from the fridge ran hot water over the inside of the glass but didn't leave any water in there and poured and gave it to me, it was so much smoother a huge difference I recommend trying it.

 

I’ll give that a go.

 

I was like you and didn't like the peated whiskey but I love it like that.

 

You'd be amazed Old boy, something's simply aren't what they appear to be......

 

So anyway....I expect it to be a closer affair than the 6-1 raping we handed out to the Foxes in their own back yard, the last time we met.

 

... me too ... we've already committed to playing with some form of defence in contrast to that one ...

I quite like the really cheap Tesco branded dark rum - only a tenner a bottle too. Result.

 

For a mixer there's not much wrong with Captain Morgan dark. Yeah you can get better but if you're on one then **** it £10 for a bottle is good.
