Apparently, Chelsea fans see us as rivals, which would go a long way to explaining their obsession with us.
 
Someone tell me how the above comment can be made from a bloke camped on our board throughout a large portion of his day? <laugh>

As a neutral southern based football fan, I love reading the banter on the Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal boards, and I make the occasional comment (I support league 2 Gillingham, gamne called off today so getting my football fix elsewhere). But felt compelled to add my 2 penneth here as I do like things to remain factual, and it certainly isnt the case that Spurs have been Chelseas shadow for 30 years as this seems to suggest, whilst no one can argue Chelseas success in the 21st century, from 1981 - 2000, Spurs finished above Chelsea 12 times out of 19. Now I am old and have enjoyed watching great footballers at both clubs from Osgood and Chivers in the early 70s right through to today, but I can only think that many of the Cheslea fans here are very young as you did wait a long time to win the title too. Spurs wont win the title this year but they are playing great football, and for the neutral are good to watch and I am just pleased that London has 3 teams who will compete with those from the North for many years to come. I will also add that I like Drogs avatar as along with my love of football I am massive Jam/Weller fan. Anyway play fair everyone and enjoy; I think it will be a quite a ride.

Ps. Chivers was a fine forward but couldn't hold a candle to the great Peter Osgood.;)
