some people are just long term campaigners for the sake of it
I want it to rain less in Manchester but I'm not going to campaign for it

This is a perfect example of people who hate anybody with different views. Everybody has to think the same or it's not fair.
I ask what can be done to improve things. I've not seen one person make a realistic suggestion.
It's all: "I want a perfect world and I will complain until I get it!"

Did you complain about it to your employer or the police? It's illegal.
Marching down the street holding placards wont change anybody who says that.

Your philosophy seems to be: "I'm proud to not be able to make sense"

I know how we can all come together and agree!
Let's all wish really hard that things will get better.
Surely nobody can disagree with me about that?

In reply to earlier questions, I would actually be interested in the story when a footballer comes out. In a similar way to having incredible admiration for anyone who had the bollocks to come out, be true to themselves and not give a toss what others thought despite knowing they would risk rejection from family and friends. Until recently, those challenges must have been incredibly difficult. I suspect there are many males in my age group who probably led very miserable existences because they never had the courage too. It probably isn't confined to my age group either. A female friend 25 years younger than me lost a lot of her family when she finally (after two broken marriages) found the bravery to come out.
Being the first footballer to come out would take even greater bravery. I would be very interested in the back story of how he found that courage, how his family and friends responded and then the reception he receives.
In answer to Peter, we need to continue campaigning until we no longer have to admire someone's bravery for coming out.

Continue to campaign. Haven't several people already suggested that on this thread?

Actually, it's just an example of one of this board's in-jokes.

If only you didn’t get removed from threads for calling these people out for what they are.

I mean, if I were to call them out for being the racist Nazi bigoted ****s I think they are then I’d probably be banned from another thread. So for now I’ll just think it.

I agree that people have suggested that but what practical effect will that achieve? Most people agree that people should be allowed to follow whatever their sexuality is. The people who hate homosexuals are never going to be convinced. The only thing I think that could be changed is the Church of England's views. Many muslims seem to be very anti homosexuality but for some reason the people who like to campaign regularly appear scared to confront them.

What's anti-gay got to do with being a "racist Nazi bigoted ****"?
I like your idea of just thinking it.

I wouldn’t say it out loud but I’m thinking you’re all four. Along with a few others on here.

It’s a shame that you have a mod amongst you allowing you to flourish your hate.

I’m thinking of telling you to get ****ed now because you’re a worthless piece of **** but my thoughts will remain private.

Homophobia is bigotry. “Bigoted” covers your homophobia as well as your other ignorant hatred.

You seem to be coming out with insults because you are incapable of thinking.
