Couldn't the same be argued by others for the muslim invasions and associated rapes, massacres and slavery throughout history, including relatively recent events such as Smyrna?

Doesn't the example of mohamed's life give justification to the aggressive interpretation?

It should be Thou Shalt Not Murder, as it's a better translation.
The interpretation problem is that there are a ton of other passages that say that you should kill.
Gays, apostates, disobedient children, adulterers, pagans, witches and a wide variety of others.
God also commands genocide on several occasions, so he can't have meant Don't Kill Anyone, Ever.

Why would any God want someone else to do his dirty work, maybe because God does not exist, except in the minds of people. No other animal prays to a god, not even Elephants or Aardvarks.

Right like I said it doesn't matter whether its Muslim or non-Muslims they will find a reason to justify their actions regardless.

As to the example of Prophet Muhammed's lifes aggressive interpretation, can you give an example as to what you are talking about here? Because its easy to say someone is aggressive without examples for instance.

Apart from the slaves, I think the wars and campaigns were not all 'self defence'.

What? That all wars and campaigns were not self defence? No, of course not! But that applies to virtually every religion or faith.

They were an attempt to force their chosen faith on those conquered, the perceived unbelievers. Or proselytising was used as an excuse to invade and plunder too.

Because he does not like the world Proffesional football opens up to him?

Remove the money and I can't see too much of an attraction if one is a devout Muslim. He can play the beautiful game with his pals if that is what he wants.

Why doesn't he just turn up for training and play on matchdays, then give his money to the local Mosque?

I'm sure he can find a lot of reasons to spend the money.

I bet it's things like the social aspect of the environment. He won't be partying, womanising etc etc and to be fair I can imagine how that would alienate him from a group of young men with money to blow.

That will be his conflict, most likely, It's not the money that is the problem.
