....Just as well - He played a big part in not cutting out the shot for Wimbledon's goal.

This was a horrible game of football - inasmuch that the referee failed to control the behaviour of Wimbledon's thugs... How on Earth did Pell get away with so much dissent - and Brown and Gunter were not much better...... The referee had little or no control of the game - and the only surprise for me was that no more Gills players ended up crippled.

I'm uncertain if either team deserved to win -- perhaps Gills just shaded it by the way that they fought back from 0-1, to show real character....... and Wimbledon certainly deserved nothing for their criminality.

From the highlights there, MacDonald very unlucky not to score in the first half, and great free kick for the first goal. Two great saves by Morris.

We had a poor first half again, not sure why we need the second half to start playing?????
Thought Tutonda had a great game. But with the top strikers we had on took two defenders to score. Alexander apparently the first since 2018!!!!! But what a time to rectify and WHAT a GOALLLLL
Looking forward to Tuesday evening this is a massive test of what we are capable of

gioblues- I didn't say that Ehmer didn't play well - (( along with the rest of the side. )) - I was stating an obvious point..and I never mentioned (( another fault )) - that he is still 'pulling' on the arm of an opposition forward (whilst inside our penalty area ) - I actually told a friend next to me that Ehmer should play upfront - he's less of a liability....I applaud that he was in the right place to score - but - as I have previously stated - I look at the bigger picture....Ehmer had huge room for improvement before Christmas....

To be fair to Ehmer, he has greatly improved (( as has the rest of the squad. ))...Ehmer is one of several players who need to sustain the improvement in each game until the rest of the season - otherwise - they won't be on my 'retained' list....I will stick my neck out and say that (( in the case of Ehmer )), if he continues with 'current' form, I expect him to be in the squad next season........ahead of others currently in the squad.

How many pens should Gills have had with Hawkins being hailed every time. Ehmer pen that was given was very harsh against Swindon. It happens every game and not given like yesterday wasn't.

Gioblues - I have seen thousands of penalty incidents ( for Gills ) - that haven't been given. ... I have stated several times that I hate cheating - for or against my team..... It's open to interpretation by the sort of useless officials, such as yesterday - who can end up costing us penalties conceded and crippled players...
... As for Ehmer, for all his improvement, he just can't himself from grabbing opponents' arm - because he is too slow, and daren't let a forward steal half a yard - he'd be left miles 'behind'.
