No, we had Martinez until we got gazumped by Belgium. When Martinez went so did our targets. Although that isn't in the interview, its just my opinion.
I thought he said the loan fees for the season were £5m. He mumbled this window then corrected himself to the season. EDIT: he does indeed say £5m this window.
I got the feeling that this video might be the first step in trying to healing wounds, the comment "Whatever differences we may have we can look at them separately" but maybe I am just a glass half full person.
Agreed. It's sad because even if they, or he in fact, does make an effort to try and rebuild bridges and make amends, the stubbornness and pettiness of certain individuals would make it more difficult. Hugely ironic but mostly just sad. With the recent changes though, I'm much more optimistic, about the team and the club.
I typed that about half way through watching it! I was bang on too, which just proves my unfailingly awesome trait of being a good judge of character and intent. You tosspot.
I fully agree with you. It's a shame to think what could have been. It's interesting how he talks about the sale of Livermore & Snodgrass, that as I thought, Silva had the final say on any player leaving the club. It sounds like Silva thought those 2 dont fit his system and could bring in "better" players with the money available. But when we had a bid in for Robertson he wanted to keep him.
I thought it was a decent interview to be honest, let's hope it's the first of many and this situation can be sorted.
Well I thought it was a decent interview and at least he has given one. BTW I still think the same they have caused this, but the door needs opening. Maybe we are seeing the start of some dialogue. TWT.
That's his **** excuse for not engaging with any fans, let's not give it any credibility, there's plenty of fans willing to meet with him and openly discuss how to resolve things.
New owners in the background telling him what to say maybe. I still dont think escab was behind the new manager and back room staff coming.
This is obviously the start of a bit of a charm offensive, I've no problem with it, at least he's engaging a bit and giving us some information. He's still a cock though.
