Forgetting any meeting for a minute, there's no way Ehab's going to achieve anything while still refusing to use the club's name.
This is exactly what I'm saying Concessions are complicated to sort for lots of reason, but they could be done The use of the name is very easy and doing that would mean meetings on other issues might be meaningful If he won't do that meetings are pointless
I heard yesterday, maybe this has already been posted and I missed it, that Simon King's leaving for West Brom, new guy starting next week.
Just wondered if the 'Oxley' incident was a factor. It received major coverage in the national media and a scapegoat would have been sought the Allams.
I'd be happy to meet with Ehab. Kempton: Good afternoon Ehab, thank you for agreeing to meet me. Ehab: Hi Kemps, do you like colouring in? Daddy hid my crayons, but he doesn't know that Happy got me some more... Giggle, ooh ooh haha. K: Hmm, I was rather hoping we could discuss the lack of concessions at the Kcom? E: Oh that's boring, we don't need concessions anymore because we don't go to silly football games anymore. Haribo? K: Thank you, Mr Allam no. Can we discuss the use of the clubs name online? E: Haha, I know that one, Hull city Tigers. Kempton punches Ehab in the throat etc...
"My view on Ehab" would be a much better thread. Not to be trusted, he's a two faced lying bastard just like his old man. Discuss...........
Sorry Chazz, I think thousands of supporters do look to the Trust. It has an enormous amount of goodwill from the name change campaign and standing up to the Allams. Most Trust supporters didn't blame the Trust for the failure to get concessions back. The Allams don't listen to anybody and they did their best. I would say the atmosphere at most matches wasn't toxic, even when we were losing. The Allam out chants were sang yesterday, diluted undoubtedly by what's happening on the pitch and the number of Liverpool supporters in the North. City Till I Die was louder than its been for a while and was sang more than once. I would say the number of people believing the Allams are asset stripping the club is evidence of a toxic atmosphere. What would happen if Ehab sat in the posh seats with his family? Do you think the atmosphere would turn a little toxic? He certainly seems to think it would. Marco Silva makes it easier for reconciliation to happen, but that's all. The problem is between the owners and supporters and that needs sorting. Excluding the Trust from any meeting wouldn't help, neither would not having a meeting. What do you mean by concessions? Concessions in the south stand only counts as getting concessions back. It satisfies the Premier League rules and is fairly simple to implement given the family guarantee this season. Would you be happy if the club did that?
So when you said earlier about the toxic atmosphere you didn't mean the toxic atmosphere??? Concessions across the board obviously. It needs looking at properly.
I meant around the club in general, not at the KC, in particular. I agree the concessions needs to be looked at properly, which is why it should be done with supporters input and hopefully agreement. Excluding the Trust would be counter-productive as would not inviting the OSC. Personally I think reconciliation is possible but it won't be easy.
