This letter has piqued my interest for some reason. Having listened to an interview with Gauthier Ganaye I don't believe he actually wrote the letter. My guess it was someone being a bit opportunistic and getting Mind to put it together, then endorsed by Ganaye. Still a fine gesture all the same.
That letter, regardless of who wrote it, is from the CEO, not the Chairman or Vice-Chairman. We don't have one of those, i.e. someone who actually knows what they're doing, unless you call Enob playing with his toys (human and non-human....) a CEO as well as Vice-Chairman.
I can't recall a ground where the home fans have really impressed vocally. There's a few which have big reputations as being cauldrons of noise, but don't really live up to it. Liverpool only seem to turn up for big European nights, but when little old Hull go there it's like anywhere else. Stoke is just an irritating place. They blast music from huge speakers directly into the away crowd before kickoff which thwarts attempts to generate an atmosphere. They're incredibly vocal towards referees or opposition players they don't like, but there isn't really a big singing section or anything.
I put this here rather than open a new thread. Did anyone hear TS this morning discussing Celtic not qualifying for the CL and it costing them a minimum £40 million. Small potatoes you might think, but the SPL gets a pittance compared to ours. Anyway the gist was Celtics, "HEAD OF PLAYER RECRUITMENT' Lee Congerton, getting pelters off Jim White from Sky and TS, asking him what the hell he has been doing this summer, with next to no incoming, certainly of any quality. He added Brendan Rodgers as much as he loved the club would walk. It took all I could to not ring in and say, Celtic Paaaaah.... have you heard of a muppet called Darnborough. COngerton had previously been Sporting Director at Sunderland... Question, how the F do these people get these jobs... !!!!!!!
So what was the reason barmby was sacked? Couldn't make a substitution? So the praise will go to the team and not to the Allams. Agreed. So they won't be mentioned then will they.
