Oh dear. So Ehab^^^^^^^ Allam now has a weekend job as a taxi driver does he ? As if he would share anything with a youth but you have to smile at this. With everything else that has gone on witht eh Allams and AP/NB IF they do shaft Dawson over his new contract and testimonial then the fans anger would go up even more so. This is no way to treat such a loyal servant. Deano - Ashbee(ok mainly his own fault) - Barmby and possibly Dawson all leave the wrong way. If club legends are treated so badly then how the heck are we to attract quality in the future. I do fear for the Allams the way things are going.
But surely the whole point is that thanks to the Allams stupidity Nick Barmby is no longer involved. ?
Funnily enough the same stance quite a few of us have taken. Although now you've said it, maybe the morons who are very anti will actually listen.
I find all this talk of the club not showing loyalty to Dawson daft. He has been great but how many called for him to dropped over the last couple of years? TBH, he hasn't offered much going forward this year, and his defending has been scary at times. We made the mistake in the year we went up offering daft contracts to players we should have let go. Why waste money and a squad position if we can get someone better. How many players are prepared to move on if given a better contract. I'm not saying Dawson is like that, but football is a job to most players. As nice as loyalty would be, it doesn't seem to have a place in the modern game.
Only the daft people who dont understand football at all. Dawson was a rock last season and with Hobbs out we need him more than ever. If Dawson goes its a disgrace END OF.
To be honest, although I wasn't one of the ones who wanted him dropped, I was one of the ones who wanted Joe Dudgeon to be given more of a chance. But I have to say Daws had a very good season last year. I can easily see him leaving, though, and not for footballing reasons. Him and Nick were big mates and he will have been affected badly by what happened and the way it happened. Would be a HUGE loss to the club. That kind of experience and devotion you tend to want to keep at a club, even after playing days are over.
CORRECT. Expect a mssive backlash IF Dawson does leave. The message the Allams are sending out is not a good one at all. The way they are running the club simply beggars belief now.
Come next may when our new manager gets us either automatic promotion or a place in the play offs the KC will be cheering the Allams for sacking NB. This could , just maybe , the start of our best times ever .. Without NB we will go on , without AP the club will go on .. BUT without the Allams we would be ****ed .. Those throwing insults at the Allams , are YOU going to pay the players wages or provide a transfer kitty ? If the Allams walked that would be far worse then sacking NB. ASSEM and EHABS BLACK and AMBER ARMY. The Allams did not have to lift a finger to save our club , they did not have to give 1p to all the things they have given to over the years Calling them ******s shows what a ****** you are .
Daws was fine at times and played better than I expected sometimes, but he also lacked the pace need d and did cost us. I think it could be his choice to go.
WTF is that a lawn mower in the background, surely they'd have a tractor , reg number blotted out defininately cut and paste lol. If true though fair play.
Would swap Dawson with a young up and coming player any day of the week. Looking to the years to come that's all.. Nothing against AD .. I wouldn't be mad if we moved him on .
Personally I'd take issue with this. Whether you like they way they handled it or not (for the record I didnt) we were a better team before Nick was appointed.
Who is calling them ******s ? Just simply calling them clueless when it comes to football matters. They are proving it with there current actions.
Prom? ****ing Prom?!? Where do you go to school - Boston Massachusetts? You live in England, you went to a ball you ****.
And anyway, assuming this tale from a ****ing 'prom' (****) is true, what exactly was said that was so shocking? It's hardly revelatory stuff and Ehab isnt being as unprofessional as some are claiming. Why wouldnt he talk to 'a family friend' about the biggest news in Hull this month?
Its has been called a school "Prom" for a long time, Wolfreton's Prom has been going for many years. Like it or not a lot of the American way of doing things has moved over here. Kids tend to hire limos or make some kind of an entrance so I suppose an Aston Martin would be nice to arrive in.
Doesnt make it ****ing right though does it? What next - we wear sneekers, get our water from a fawcet, walk the sidewalk and invade other countries for fun? And what does the word Prom actually mean to anyone in England? ****ing nothing, that's what. I reckon 99.9% dont even understand the origin and simply saw it on Friends or ****ing Hannah Montana and thought "Gee, that looks swell. Let's do it here". ****s.
