"JA and BW both mention that entry queues to the Stadium have improved this season" - pat on the back for Ehab here then piss off everyone so they don't bother coming anymore - then take the plaudit 'cos the queues have improved !!
Begs the question IF we were to draw a 'big club' at home in FAC3 and attract a near capacity crowd - how will they manage the entry system? It'll be carnage.
Why are things like leaky roofs allowed to be raised at meetings like this when they are clearly bigger issues to address? No wonder they don’t mind BW being there. She’ll request a repaint of a sign next and take up three meetings with the matter.
Yeah that did me me laugh , perhaps it might have something to do with the ground been half empty this season
Nice to see some of you are still delusional on here. The Trust doesn't represent the majority of our fans. Nor does the OSC. Nor does the HC Action For Change group. No one does. The meeting has actual real fans invited, and it also has the Trust there. It's quite balanced in fact. Because it's a cross section of fans. Is the concern on here the realisation that not enough people care to join the Trust, of HCAFC etc, because the things that some people think are important, don't matter to some other people? Some of those going might not be impressed with the protests, and ****ing hell, we can't be having that can we? It's dividing our fans! (irony alert for last sentence - please see previous keyboard warrior type comments about some of our fans)
I'm not delusional. Sorry to be picky but the Trust and the HC Action for Change Group have actual real fans within their ranks. The question is how do you stop people throwing stress balls on the pitch? You either talk to them and reach a compromise or you try to stop them physically bringing the balls in or throwing them. The protests will continue until the issues causing them disappear. What is delusional is expecting people to stop protesting whilst the Allams continue to see owning Hull City as a war between them and the Council, and between them and a section of the supporters.
I hope Les dropped his kegs to reveal a pair of amber and black undies with "The Assems are a pair of ****s" emblazoned on them
He is indeed! If Steve attends this one we need not worry about anyone not challenging them, he won't beat around the bush that's for certain. With regards to the other attendee's I have no idea what their views will be like. They are entitled to share them and have as much say anyone who is Anti Allam. However, in my eyes they should have clearly invited someone from the protesters otherwise how can they discuss the reasons they are protesting and put some action in place to resolve these issues?
Noticed on ITV tonight that the interviewer referred to him as Doctor but the caption that accompanied piece was plain Assem Allam.
Seems the only thing stopping the Allams selling the club is a few militant supporters and the fact we don't own the ground. Perhaps an indication of what's coming on Wednesday.
More from Assem slagging off the fans for not backing him against the council re: the stadium freehold?
I wasn’t claiming those groups don’t have real fans Obi. The name calling and disdain shown by some to any of our fans annoys the hell out of me. The protesters and folks with agendas are well represented for this meeting. Just because they’re not internet sensations doesn’t make them less worthy. Besides, what’s the point in meeting some of those who only have one demand?
Not inviting anyone from the protest group, when the prime aim is to stop the protests, is obviously daft, but entirely predictable. I’m sure there’s some decent people on the committee, but other than the Trust and OSC, they’re answerable to no-one, they don’t consult with other fans, they’re just a handful of individuals picked by the club. It’s far from ideal.
Ehab was talking about an amnesty. To achieve an amnesty who have to talk to the people who are protesting. Whether they are included is an indication of how serious the meeting is, at least to me. Unless, of course, the Allams are going to give us everything the protesters want at the meeting. My waters tell me that's unlikely to happen. I don't know the people involved and I'm not going to criticise them for trying to make things better for supporters by giving up their time. The club sets the parameters for what can and cannot be actioned which, up to now, has excluded the name and concessions. As a consequence it feels a bit like Nero fiddling whilst watching Rome burn to me. If the roof gets fixed great but it isn't really acknowledging the elephant in the room. The Allams are slowly killing our club and it is likely to get a lot worse before it gets better.
