Have you ever questioned a mananagers decision and ended up with as the saying goes egg on your face? I remember Saints were away to Forest i think it was. Souness took off Le Tiss and put on Mickey Evans. Well I won't repeat what Ishouted at the Radio/TV can't remember which but anyway Evans scored twice
 
When Shearer left Southampton I boldly announced that he was a decent enough player but not a good finisher!
 
When we played Swansea in our first season back in the PL at home, I thought "at least we have our first clean sheet" at 1-0 up - 5 seconds later, Dyer scores.
 
1990 World Cup second round game. Bobby Robson brings on David Platt in extra time against Belgium at 0-0..... I said, "Why the hell has he brought him on?" :emoticon-0111-blush
 
Ok this isn't questioning a mangers decision but I followed the heard in thinking we would bounce straight back to the PL after relegation because we were a 'Premiership side in the championship'. looking back I realise I was arrogant and disrespectful to the championship.

You guys should sit near me at St Mary's. My mate that comes with me always shouts either

"Who's that to?!"
or
"What was that?!"

It is normally followed within 10 seconds by a loud roar, cheering and hand clapping.....:)

I think I'll get him to say something before a Tadic penalty....

Also, a few on here may remember one England game last year (San Marino?) when Townsend got subbed on I said something like "why is he even in the squad, don't rate him" or something to that effect, he then scored almost instantly.

I also text Chelsea supporting boss yesterday that they were getting dominated by the toon again, they scored as soon as I sent it.

I thought the same. Even though he signed for Liverpool, we weren't wrong...it is a nonsense move. Perhaps not for him (for personal reasons), but how did this make sense for Liverpool. He's a player who needs to play if you want to get the best from him.

I never thought we would get relegated (because I had my fingers crossed) but thought we were in for a rubbish, middling season. However, cheered up immensely when a reporter mentioned the R word to Koeman before the season started and Ronald looked incredulous. It's a long way from 8th to relegation, he said.

After the Brighton friendly ...on the way home on the train was texting my brother and was basically saying that Pelle was a bit of donkey....nice to be proved wrong :smile:
