Nothing against RL, but can you imagine Sky pulling the plug? The sport would go down the toilet quicker than one of my mammoth logs. Its a shame because if it had been marketed better by the flat cap, black pudding and whippet brigade that run the sport it could really have taken off. The RL couldn't run a bath.

Your spot on with this, the game is a great product (I know many on here will disagree) but the idiots in charge are just inadequate.

Although a lot of other sports would also collapse if the TV money was pulled.

This is working out well for us.

The hen-pecked blokes with their podgy birds, the uncommitted and easily led, the egg-chasing dimbos etc will already have committed to the 'Magic' weekend.

Watch the dross *vanish* from our support at Wembley.

Aside from those rugby fans who don't care about football, I'd be shocked if anyone who has an interest in both sports picked going to the magic weekend ahead if even watching the cup final on telly. This is unprecedented ground in the oldest cup competition in the world. It will probably never happen again, magic weekend will be there next year.

I once had a spare ticket fr a Rolling Stones gig, I offered it to my mate who opted to get pissed round someone's house instead because he was trying to pull some bird (and failed at that). To this day he says that's his biggest regret. Can't pass up opportunities like this, even if its from the pub or your living room.

I wonder which story your children or grandchildren would rather hear?

Anyone know where Barmby's likely to be?

Hope he bites the bullet and gets down to Wembley.
