My son has been a dedicated fan for as long as I can remember and he has found them quite depressing. I usually watch their games with him and I can see why. I said a while back he wouldn't last beyond Christmas but wasn't expecting it to be that sudden. We'll now see if it's the manager or the players that got to this state. I mean even with no manager they should be capable of playing better as a team. At times they just look a shambles. I was hoping we would get them at home in the cup. My son was not so keen on that
It can't be all the managers fault, even if Ten Hag put is faith in players he knew. You only have to look at the last ten years & the managers that have gone in one door & out of the other
Coventry have sacked Mark Robbins No13, all I can say about that is I hope to see Coventry back in League 2, & I can not see him out of a job for long.
Have just seen Matt Bloomfield on one site is 4/1 for the Coventry Job the same as Lampard, or Blooms is 6/1 on another with Lampard at 2/1
Why would he go to a club that have just sacked their best manager they have had in years? Surely he would stay at Wycombe as he has the full backing of our owner and fans after a sh*t start to his career as our manager.
It's known as pay cheque syndrome mowgli. Same reason Schumaker went to Stoke and how did that turn out for him. Very well actually as he must have had one mega payoff. Have to say that is one sacking I did not expect to see.
I suppose you are right Greeny get offered a three or four year contract even though below the Premier League it's probably not as good as Ten Hag reported pay off of £15 millon, as we have said before make the wrong decision & that could be your career over
To be fair if somebody had offered me £1m to retire from my job they could have taken my career and placed it anywhere they wanted to. It's not exactly heartbreaking to be paid a shed load to go.
Well he said what they wanted to hear. Didn't seem too convincing when he said this is the right team for him. Maybe because he made it very clear that he wanted the Hearts job. So this is very much not his first choice. However, I'm sure he will give it his all and hope it goes well for him, especially against Birmingham (but not on Dec 14th)
