We are now on No 23 I suppose one way of looking at it Lampard was'nt really doing it for the money, you do wonder what some clubs expect, I must admit I thought Man U would have sacked Solskjaer by now if he had been at Chelsea he probably would'nt have got this far
Solskjaer is doing a good job and it's nice to see that the owners backed him when he went through a sticky patch. It's paid off handsomely. If Gareth had been Chelsea manager (or any team manager), he would have been sacked years ago. Luckily they kept the faith and look where we are, having been a hair's breadth from non league; and we got there without buying a single player
The opinon seems to be going in the direction of Lampard being stitched up good & proper, got him in when nobody else would have taken the job, then sack him at the first sign of trouble & the person you really want becomes avaliable
And in the world of football it was ever thus................ Lets be honest there has never been any such thing as loyalty either by player, manager or owner when push comes to shove.
Simon Grayson new Fleetwood manager & guess what he can not wait to get started I bet he said that down the road at Blackpool as well
Bournemouth have sacked Jasoln Tindall after just 6 months in charge, utter madness they're in 6th place ffs!
Looks like Jason Tindall has also been stitched up what are the odds on Lampard being in the job by the end of today, anyway No 25. One thing we can be sure off Ainsworth will not be touted for any jobs at the moment.
No 26 & 27 today Keith Curle at Northampton & Paul Tisdale at Bristol Rovers, Rovers only sacked the last one on 14th November 2020. Did'nt Curle get Northampton up through the play-offs last season
