Well its the battle of the dreamers then because Mrs S told me that she had a dream last night and its going to be 2-0 and JRod is going to score , maybe both of them , I lost the detail by this point as I was in a daze wondering where my cunning plan to set her expectations low had gone astray

I'd prefer 1-1... 119th minute. Liverpool win a penalty and Lallana steps up in front of the Anfield road end and trips over the ball. Saints fans behind the goal go wild and we reach the final on away goals

Steven Davis is desperate to get to the final and wants the stadium to be rocking.
(Beware those of a sensitive disposition last year is mentioned. )

 

This is my match prediction.

Saints to start the match brightly, with Redmond cutting in a hitting a low shot that goes just past the post. We get a flurry of corners only for them to be smashed over or caught by whoever has won the Be A Liverpool GK competition.
Liverpool to then dominate the rest of the half with Saints fans obtaining the world record for strongest collective bum tension (the awarding moment when Lallana dances through the defence and squaring to Sturridge who somehow miscontrols).

Second half starts with a bang when from out of nowhere Hojbjerg decides to shoot from range, his shot dipping in from 30 yards, the ground is rocking. But not for long as Liverpool equalise straight away, Lallana breaking hearts and gets caught in the emotion of scoring and runs to Northam. He is taken off quickly when a red dot starts appearing on his forehead. Liverpool keep banging on the door but can't get through. Chance after chance goes begging. 90th minute Saints finally make a counter attack and Jay nutmegs Lovren before smashing in the winner to send th crowd nuts.

Second leg : 0-0. Saints through. Yay.

 

**** that, way too tense.

Saints go 3-0 up inside 15 minutes. Score 2 more after the break and the kids draw 0-0 at Anfield.
