Our scintillating team goal scored by Jack Clarke at Reading back in September has won the David Dent Goal of the Season award for 2022-23. Starting from Anthony Patterson’s penalty area and ending up finished by Clarke in front of adulation from the travelling supporters, eight Sunderland players were involved in an incredible passing move which put the Lads 3-0 ahead at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. The memorable moment was named as the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month for September. Congratulations to Jack and the Lads!
watched the seasons goals (so far) and while jack's was pure class, roberts first was something damn good as well...not really shocked neither got a mention but if it was man city/arsenal/liverpool etc it would be thrown up every chance they got.
Not that I give a ****, but if Clarke's goal was voted goal of the month for September how the **** did it not make the shortlist for goal of the season?
I think...... The goal of the month was Sky's efl goal of the month. The EFL were left to their own devices for goal of the season.....make of that what you will. Clueless.
