You might be right but it's a very negative defeatist post. As a Sunderland fan you should be experienced on our rollercoaster - it's never over till the fat lady sings and she's waitng 'till well into April.
I don't consider Bournemouth as a relegation rival - I still feel 3 from Leicester Swansea Boro Hull and us -
Try and keep (blind) faith - even tho' its hard <doh> :emoticon-0148-yes:

I did'nt include Palace as the BSA influence is starting - a bit like his start at Sunderland - feel they have too many good players
But if we don't beat Burnley will be virtually over
Its still a long shot if we win but our premiership rollercoaster ride is still on <cheers>

Thing is I'm not relying too much on Kirchhoff because his though he's great on the ball etc. we're lacking the pressing midfielder, like Catts.

We don't pressure teams enough when they have the ball and not sure Jan will add a great deal in that respect.
That's why I only said he might improve us. I'm not sure the lack of pressing is down to the available players but more to do with the way they're told to go and play the game. N'Dong and several of the others should have the energy and mobility to close players down quickly in Midfield. Kirchhoff obviously isn't that type of player but then he should be playing a slightly different role. Quite often though it seems we're set up to defend the edge of the penalty area and so we concede space and time on the ball and invite pressure.

Why the relief?

Burnley surely not considered relegation rivals?

They'll be seeing you as a perfect opp now to break that away form duck.

Just clutching at straws, Burnley aren't safe by any means with 31 points and we aren't down yet either so the more sides who could potentially get dragged into our pit of misery the better.

Certainly not safe, but their home form is incredible. They'd be 2nd if their away form matched their home form.

They're doing like, 'half a Leicester' this season.

Hard to believe you have just noticed this.

I've had a busy weekend mate.

Went to a League1 game yesterday.

Watched the sort of standard we might all be watching if some ****er doesn't pull his thumb out of his arse sometime soon.

Then went to watch the new Kong film with most of my family. Happy to say I was the only 1 out of 6 to enjoy the film!

And today? Back in the gym after a 15 months and already sore as ****.

Won a few quid on horses in Chile and the gulf and haven't got a clue how lol!

So all in all, I've been a little busy lately mate <laugh>
