Your sniping against the UK government has become so predictable and boring, it is not worth responding. At least Lord Haw Haw was actually paid by the Nazis to undermine the UK, you seem to do it out of boredom or desperation.

Love her or loathe her I think we need a Margaret Thatcher figure to run this charade. As least there would be no buggering about by politicians who want to remain covertly wrecking the exit process by dithering, there would be a target and we would move towards it. Of those who cared enough to vote the majority said out so, in this case, that is the aim.

If we had collectively voted to remain inside the EU would the exit crowd have accepted the decision, kept up a trickle of snipping, been a bit more active (in an SNP type way) or been stamped on like the Spanish government is doing to the Catalans?

They may have accepted a snap decision, but they would have continued agitating - Farage said so himself prior to the referendum when he said that a 52%-48% defeat would be inconclusive. The Brexiters would not have abandoned their whole reason for living in the event of a defeat.....they would have continued to make a nuisance of themselves for years and Farage would have continued knocking up his expense account in Brussels for much longer.

Good to see that Spain, France and Austria are all countries showing good growth in their GDP, France showing that the economy is moving forward at the fastest rate since 2011. Meanwhile the UK continues to lag behind. Seeing as we are still in the EU, what is wrong with the UK economy? 2.2% growth in France against 1.5% in the UK, all done with wanting to see a strong EU rather than leave it. What a mess the UK is in.

Those who wish to ignore the latest news from The Bank of England forget that they asked all of the banks and financial companies what their plans were for post Brexit. They now know, and can base the forecasts on solid information.

Strange - I thought they didn't have one as they've never voiced one... (whistle)

We have blown half a billion pounds on Brexit so far according to the government. An extra 8,000 people are to be recruited by Whitehall, including 300 lawyers. Another 3,000 -5,000 people are to be employed by HM Revenue and Customs.

I thought that the Tories were supposed to be the party of small government.

A small price to pay for freedom. Let the rest of the EU follow Macron's plan for an EU superstate.

If you had watched David Davis today you would have realized that this is going to cost the UK a whole lot more. Sounded as if he would pay anything to buy a deal, even a poor one. He accepted that a no deal situation was not an option.

Your negative spin has no similarity to what he actually said.

Really? Perhaps you would like to say what he did say then.

It has been well reported, nothing like your negative spin.

I've read four different reports on his comments today, none manage anything like the negative you have created. Oh well if it keeps you occupied, it must be awfully dull in the enclave at the moment. Maybe the next round of strikes will liven things up a bit :emoticon-0105-wink:
