Seems to be a bit of a non-story to me to be honest. The contract is for 'outside services' , not actual running of the hospitals in the area. The question of who provides what is a reasonable one to look at if you want to get the available money used for the priority treatments. Even with there being a contribution from the patient for most treatments here, the government admits that it cannot fund everything the country would wish for. If you need homecare services you have to pay, but at least you get a service rather than the 10 minutes a day that my mother received. I cannot see a time with the ageing populations and the advanced treatments when everyone anywhere will be 100% happy with their healthcare systems.

Just a glimpse into Bojo's earlier career as a right wing populist journalist, some of his quotes.
'Never let the facts interfere with a good story', following on from this philosophy to some of his headlines.
''Euro headquarters to be blown up'', There were actually plans for their demolition but the building is still serving as HQ for the European commission.

'' Europe proceeded with plans to abolish the prawn cocktail flavour crisp `` <laugh>
Absolute rubbish as it turned out.

    ''Delors plan to rule Europe''.

For years Bojo specialized in such populist anti EU. stuff, without once letting the facts interfere with what Fleet Street wanted - can anyone trust him now ?

Bojos jovial buffoon persona covers something very different...... Seems to me that the out campaign generally has been a haven for Machiavellians. What surprises me is how the populist media have fallen for them.

I am just off to walk around to my local polling station to vote in the EU Referendum. Now what were the arguments regarding how I should vote?

We had Brexit literature through the door this morning (I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to do this on election day). It contained the £350 million lie multiply, which has been exposed so many times but it's still being pedalled.

I wonder if this will cause a stir? Plus the fact that someone has presumably taken a photo when he/she shouldn't have... hahaha.jpg

If leave win what pressure will there be on Cameron regarding his future - if any at all?

Suppose Boris and Nigel Farage will just carry on as usual even in defeat probably asking for another vote?

True. I do think it's important to vote, but so often you can be left with a feeling of 'What difference does it make?', they'll do what they want anyway.

I hope it would marginalise the Leave politicians, not for their EU views, but for who they are - Gove, Johnson, Farage, Redwood, et al, all of whom I believe to be political extremists.

    not a chance.

Johnson and Gove will have senior positions in the government soon whatever happens tomorrow.

Redwood and Farage will be important in the event of remain. Someone needs to keep the pressure on the crooks in Brussels.

The Ukip members sitting in Brussels do nothing there. They don't go to meetings they just run up their expense bills and waste the tax payers money, and Farage has no other function than to sit around in Brussels wine bars (he drinks beer at home just to keep up the image).

Can you imagine what fellow Europeans must think of us? How arrogant of us to behave like this and then demand reform. If the EU were based here and e.g. the French right-wing were to come here, live it up at our expense and demand we change, how would their behaviour be presented in our media?

In the Daily Mail, presumably as they treated Herr Hitler and the Nazi Party in the 1930s?
