Had Ainasworth been sacked during the run of 1 win in 18 as he should have been i believe we wouldn't be so close to a return to The Conference. If we go down Ainsworth will be hated more than Alan Smith and that's saying something!! :steam:

that was dire. first half we created next to nothing, just long balls to morgan to hold up in the hope that he would get some support (he didn't). York in fairness to them exploded out of the blocks and played well to start with, we just didn't have an answer

second goal was one of the most embarrassing ive ever seen wwfc concede - bloomfield and morgan both moved to the short corner, neither went for it in the end and the defender nipped in ahead and played it strieght up the field for them to score.

second half wasent any better really, we had more possession but still no penetration and the closest we came was craig hitting the post (I think) then missing a sitter as it came back to him. we deserved nothing out of the game

as for togwell, he played ok at best then got himself a silly red card at the end. wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him properly again

all in all terrible game that only bloomfield and the centre backs escape with any credit. it was even Sammy woods worst game in a Wycombe shirt, gutted to see it and even worse to see the abuse he was getting from some of the crowd!

incidentally I will add that York played very well and theres no shame in losing to them, however they give us a run for our money as the worst time-wasters in the league!
