Are you for real?! He's a brilliant goalkeeper! Everybody might have a little poor run of form and that's the same with Gordon. He'll pick up some form and will be back to making world class saves as we've seen he can pull off.

Also another name to add to the mix........daryl murphy!!!!!!

    Prica, good shout mag boy.

The lung capacity of an 87 year old who's smoked 60 a day for 86 years seemingly.

He did score on his debut though, putting him a cut above Stead, Laslandes, Nunez and Paul Stewart!

Hey. Mcshane played with his heart 100%. Etuhu wasn't bad - he has a Europa League runners up medal. He stood up to Barton in the Derby if you remember. As for Lasandes, he was a good centre forward but in a bad Sunderland team. He knew where to run in a team that didn't know where to pass! Rep[lace these 3 with Jackie Ashurst centre half, Finney in midfield and Holden or Rob Lee up front.

BB I can appreciate the "then and now" angle, however as your age is 30 and I am, well......... over 50 and I first saw the lads when I was 7, I have more than double your years (of watching SAFC) to relive some truly awful manure on the turf of Roker Park and the SoL to look back on.

I remember we did a thread on the old 606 a few months ago on the worst managers we've had, and it took me several weeks to stop waking up in the middle of a night with a cold sweat - and there were only a dozen or so of those to contend with!! When it comes to players there are 100's <arghhhh>

Some of the names mentioned above didn't (and still don't) classify as human beings never mind professional footballers!! Next time put a triple XXX rating on it. As for THE worst keeper, the one, the only, MR...........KELVIN DAVIS.

N.B. I don't swear, just put *****'s to indicate what I'm thinking, but in his case, he was **** <ok>

Looking at how **** we've been can remind us how good we have it at the mo, despite the mini-rut.!

One great thing is that none of our current squad is in the nominees....we are improving.
