Eder supposedly close to signing?

Him, Emnes and Gomis up front will cause some confusion

.The thing with these statistics is that it really don't tell the whole story. It comes down to how he performs and if the professionals at the club thinks he is right and would fit in and score goals in the way we play then we have to trust them.......Look at Bony and michu for example, Bony first went to Liverpool for a trial and he didn't impress and even though all clubs will know about these players that we as fans had never heard of before. Other clubs shunned him also, We on the other hand gave him a chance and i remember on here fans saying what a waste of money but after a number of games he got use to the style we played and the rest is history...The same as Michu he was a relatively unknown and we gave him a chance and 22 goals in 43 games prove the club was right....The same as Eder if he joins then obviously the club thinks its worth the money to give him a chance. You have to give credit to the club for giving these unknowns a chance as they rarely ever get it wrong, So i am happy if we sign him and hopefully he will become another player who other clubs will be wanting to pay big money for in the future....

 

Nice post,Dai. Why couldn't you have been so generous and understanding about Danny Graham,who,if my memory holds good,scored a dozen goals in his first season. Yet you dismissed him.

 

I have always stated that danny was a good championship player and that is where he is better suited...

 

Graham was one of the top British goalscorers in the PL. He was better than a Championship player in those days. Can't speak for his post Swansea days,however.

 

never rated him sorry...far too many barren runs to be a top striker as he have proved with all his other clubs since he left us.....

 

Barren runs indeed but you were slagging him off when he was scoring for The Swans.

 

He's also slagged Bony off in the past too.

Was a big fan of Danny - not the most naturally gifted, and a little daft, but worked his bo**ocks off! Was led astray by plastic gangsta Lita but was still sorry to see him go.

 

The Eder transfer could take place within "the next few days",per BBC Sport.
It seems that walesonline had jumped the gun by some considerable margin.

 

I liked Graham, he was not the best finisher, but he worked hard, and his first season in the Prem was good in my view, shame he was not disciplined enough off the field, which is were he failed, I notice he's got his head down more these days, looked good in a number of games last season..........






Not sure about Eder, though I doubt he'll be a Shecter?..........
