It makes no difference to you that's the answer you're searching for. You're the type of person that came out clapping for the NHS and 3 weeks later started complaining you needed a hair cut. It's a good thing and I'm delighted nufc fans are letting Ukraine know people care.
Where was the display for the Afghans and Iraqi's when we invaded them, or is it ok when it's us doing the invading? That's the problem, once you do it for one cause but not for another it comes across as hypocritical, best to not open the can of worms in the first place. At the end of the day we go to watch a game of football and support Newcastle United, not to be involved in politics. Keep the displays about NUFC.
There's no problem. Is one good deed better than none? Yes Rainbows, knees you name it I don't care its a nice message and one I am proud to see the people of Newcastle sending. You don't have to go.. The game doesn't change? Nothing changes other than people say well done nufc fans and thank you nufc fans
I never said it did make any difference to me. You have simply mistakenly thought it did. Hope that helps put it to bed for you. No I never clapped or rattled pans for the NHS. I wouldn’t buy into some social media trend bollocks thinking clapping and rattling pans is going to make them workers feel good for more than 5mins. Most of the NHS workers I knew were insulted by it and thought that doesn’t help them being understaffed on the front line, underpaid with way too many middle managers. You know reality That’s all year round for them. I got my hair cut all the time. Wasn’t an issue. Even if my missus wasn’t a great sub for my barber, im sure I’d have survived without a haircut. I do know a lad who got quite depressed by that and not being able to get a sun bed
Definitely not mate, but it's just not something I mind if people want to send a message through a football club it doesn't bother me and doesn't matter one iota to the match itself.
So if it doesn't make a difference to you then Stfu about it and let people that it does make a difference to do it. Enjoy the match mate.
This person would be welcome to come to the match to be honest. As long as they stick to the footy Preferably join in the singing of songs but this isn’t a requirement.
Aye he probably felt that pinch by the looks of him. Honestly this lad is about 6ft 5in, loves himself and hates himself in equal measure. He got in a right tizz on the phone saying he couldn’t get a spray tan, haircut or get to the gym. Said he was getting fat, and he felt ugly. I try to be understanding in terms of mental health, it’s no laughing matter. But on that occasion I had to tell him to get to **** and get a grip.
Indeed. Yes I did say it makes no difference to me at all. I also think they should keep that ****e out the ground. I have the ability to have opinions and yet not give a **** when my opinion is ignored. It’s kind of like when someone tells a joke that offends me. I don’t cry about it. I just think, didn’t really enjoy that joke and move on.
Sorry, think I'm on the wrong thread. Can somebody give me the link to Toon v Brighton match day thread. Thanks.
