Thing is we have Isak who, to all intents and purposes will become our number 1 striker eventually. Weather that is this season or next. I love Callum Wilson to bits, an exact replica without the sick notes would be ideal. Issue is his injury record is, will be and always has been ****. This will make him number 2 and with Kuol deal wrapped up he could be number 3 pending on international appearances at world cup and work permit.
Think Kuol is competition for Diaby / Almiron but I get your point. I trust Eddie to get the best out of the players he sanctions to be brought in. Just gotta hope he can keep doing his attitude interviews to keep the squad as hungry as it now is

Not sure Kuol is an out and out striker, he’s said himself he sees himself as someone who can pick the ball up deep and bring it forward, can play wide or in the middle is what he’s said in interviews. I’d imagine he is in the Sterling mould without the pouncey running technique.
Every time I’ve seen him he’s been through the middle, quite often with another striker up top and yeah he does come very deep for the ball but kid has bags of pace and close ball control which allows him to burst forward, he looks a handful but it’s been in The A League
