At a world cup id trust Wilson more if we need a goal and get one chance. Let's face it Kane is going to play all the time but we might need to get a goal at some point and in terms of being able to poach one in the box Wilson is better. I also think Gareth likes what he adds to the group in terms of personality.
Toney is much less clinical than Wilson. I watched yesterdays game with Man City and he missed three relatively easy chances. He is also not very pacey. To be honest I think if Wilson could stay fit he is a better striker.
I rate Toney highly and if Southgate had been looking for a straight replacement for Kane who drops deeper, links play more etc then sure maybe Toney is that guy but he's gone for an out and out finisher who offers more in behind, especially in terms of clever movement and also has some good chemistry with others in the squad. In the knockout stages I can see him getting on and grabbing us an important goal.
Funniest moment was the ref pushing Pulisic at the end. Where the **** did 7 minutes come from and since when has an off the ball incident been a foul, they tried to ****ing Liverpool us again, didn't ****ing work.
