This comparison is ****ing absurd because Howe has had infinitely more money to spend.

Would Rafa have achieved less? I seriously doubt it.
Its insane. Defending Howe this season and saying he is better than Bruce. Wow Howe must be chuffed as he is better than bruce. The match day thread we had comments like ' Elanga put in a good cross' and "Good on Neave for trying to close down the keeper'. We have dropped so far this season and must people in this forum are...... its okay, next season will be better...........Urm it probably wont as the main reason for this will still be here saying ****e like it uncharacteristic of us........

The list of excuses is interesting.

If its not excuses it's lectures from the people that were wrong all bloody season.... Wow what a way to apologise.

True Geordie (person who the Howies just call instead of actually listening to the points he raises), get's it absolutely bang on with the abortion of this season and the reasons why.

I still can't believe how anyone who says they know about football, can't see the absolute obvious reasons, why we are now in this **** show of a position.

The owners need to get their bollocks out and sack Howe. You said you expected a strong finish to the season, you got a relegation threatening (over a season) total of 7 points in 7 games, despite having the laughable excuse of more minutes on the training ground and playing less games.

They don't use evidence unfortunately... They use feelings

17 losses only relegated side suffered more. That is one big Red warning sign and the Klaxon is screaming out Sack Howe, Sack Howe.

So the most alarming thing I’ve heard now is that Howe was going to offer resignation but the CEO talked him out of it. This was after Brentford.

Theres so much that will clearly go wrong if this is the case. How on earth can you back a manager with player signings if his heads gone? Why wouldn’t you just use your eyes and accept the journeys at an end and plan for the next phase? It might not be true of course but if it is, I really fear what next for the club.

Reports that Ramsey was fairly shocked at the intensity of training, not in a good way - this coming from a player who was under Emery. No wonder the elite players seem to be fed up of run, run, run some more.

Just finished the swapping of plants between flower bed and porch, even if I say so myself it looks even better than I thought it would. The purple and white hydrangeas in front of the porch pillars really worked well. I'm going to have a coffee now, may even have a biscuit with it, possibly one of those gluten free cookies, they're not as nice as the normal cookies but ok if you dunk them in your coffee. The main issue is they get very soggy and if you're not on the ball they break off into the cup.

Are the flowers in a 4-3-3 formation or did you try something different?

Howe went on leave this week, straight after Fulham, didn’t he? And the Gordon stuff has kicked off quite quickly afterwards. Anyone have a feeling Howe might still be gone?

Or do we just think we’ve restructured the approach and he’s agreed to take a full back seat on transfers?

Unless we’re getting a ****ter manager in who will be given the Gordon money and some with which to buy players this summer, Howe will be here next season. Any elite manager worth his salt who we may have a whiff of an interest in would want players like Gordon there to assess along with the rest of the squad before deciding who he wants shot of. I’m assuming it would be a he of course, anything seems ****ing possible with our lot now!

I read that our diminished UEFA fine is because we’ve agreed to break even on player sales and purchases this summer. The ****ing hole Howe has dug for us is gonna take some getting out of. A season with Wissa and Elanga to then get ****ed on spend this Summer? And he still has a job?! Genuinely mind blowing.

Let's review the evidence for this shower of a season shall we?

Spent £250m on new players, many of which are/were completely unsuitable for our style of play and tactical systems. (square pegs for round holes)
Failed to qualify for europe.
Finished in bottom half of the table
Finished below our newly promoted rivals
Got beaten home and away by the mackems
Fined by UEFA for breaching financial regulations
Multiple players unhappy and wanting out. Gordon already gone and unlikely will be replaced with a player of similar ability
Turgid football and baffling tactical decisions.

In what world does that not deserve an instant dismissal? All of the above is not "just a bad season". It is a complete and utter catastrophe, which should have been avoided and will take multiple seasons to get back to where we were.
