Confirmed he’s staying for next season. Who’d have thought avoiding relegation would be the goal for this season.

Oh well time will tell. I can understand they want a stable summer with so much churn of players so dont want to add a manager replacement to that.
I hope Howe has been read the riot act and told he will be consulted on transfers but Wilson is running the show and we are changing the model from PL proven to up and coming, or opportunistic buys.
I still think he'll be gone by Xmas as a leopard doesnt change its spots but for now, I wish him all the luck in the world.

Right decision for reasons I've mentioned before and so many more as well. Shows the Club are prepared to show loyalty and not respond with a knee jerk panic decision.

He's got too much say and gets his way on absolutely everything... I think he'll be gone by xmas though, because as you say nothing will change and everything else around Newcastle changes with data driven recruitment and superior recruitment strategies.

Anyone expecting EH to slag the team or individuals in public should plug their brains in. The playing of Osula ahead of Wissa and Big Nick tells a lot.
Tactics were changed 3 times during yesterday's game but EH never changes. Not criticising anyone for not being able to go but it is hard to see such changes watching on television or listening to the radio. And that isn't the only time he's done that either.
