I thought it was impossible for Bruce to drop any further in my opinion of him.
But having watched that training session I've become aware that he really is a ****ing football knacker dinosaur. ****ing useless twat!!

I never saw any of Bruce’s training sessions so I have no point of reference but that looked rather good. Shelvey looked absolutely ****ing buckled like, needing the goalpost to keep him upright. Our fitness levels have been shocking which I could never figure out as we always look so ****ing pedestrian. Two weeks of that will sharp sort them out.

Can’t wait for the Brentford game like!!

I think it’s pretty telling that we never got to see Bruce’s sessions.

Nice touch…bit of a **** for blasting past like but maybe he was on his phone texting Shelvey to make sure he’s in for 7am sharp in the morning cos he needs the extra hours in!

Im actually pleased we have a young manager for a change. He has good experience despite his last season at Bournemouth, he’s also English and I think all of this is being ****ing lost/forgotten about/ignored by a lot of people, the media especially. Having a young English manager with bags of potential managing a reasonably sized premier league club has to be seen to be a good thing over bringing yet another foreign manager in. We have the resources now to surround him with not only better players than he (and us for that matter) are used to, but the infrastructure and personnel behind him to help him develop as a manager with us.

I like what I’ve seen so far and he comes across as a very likeable character who has an eye for the detail. In a way it’s probably good that Jones is still there to debrief him on how things used to run under Bruce so he can get a feel for where the main problems lie…I’m sure he’ll figure it out soon enough but tho!

It wasn't him driving, he was in the back of a people carrier and must have told the driver to reverse, makes it even better really.

He got the job because he was the candidate in interview who specifically spoke about getting the best out of the current players. I can only presume a few other managers wanted to focus on recruitment in January.

Imo of course we need 3 or 4 players for us to be a serious squad, but thats such a negative approach.
Agreed - and it would be effectively writing off the next month and a half which would make it more difficult to get the players we want.

Ahh man, how can you not love this guy already - turns up before the crack of dawn, first day in charge he puts on a proper session. I've no idea what time that is he's leaving but the place looks deserted and pitch black but then he's telling his driver to back up to take some photos.

Some of the players in the videos the club put out clearly don't know what's hit them. Even the keepers are knackered :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl
