I know someone mentioned the rich owner and that is a very valid point . That have put back plans for a new stadium and the current capacity is very small . That's the only reason I can think he may consider leaving . Apart from that he is in a perfect position and I agree with you .

I would say Spurs. I think Pooch may grow increasingly frustrated at not being given the transfer funds he wants and I think eventually he'll end up at Madrid, where he'll get that. Howe would be a good fit at Spurs as to their credit they have a decent record of bringing unknown and young players through. There also wouldn't be the pressure of winning trophies that he'd have at a big club, but it would still be a big step up for him to prove himself.

  4. Nah, he'd be better off at the Gunners, where there is zero ambition in Europe. He'd probably excel in the odd domestic cup run, which the Gunners do happen to be good at.

At Spurs, there is now a quiet expectancy of top 4 each season, but he won't have that pressure at Arsenal.

I wasn’t even wumming. I honestly think Eddie Howe would be a good fit for spurs.

I agree. A nice medium-sized north London club would be the next logical step before looking for a bigger club <whistle>

A couple more seasons of steady decline and you won’t be such a big club anymore.

I’d take Chris Hughton over Howe; a broader range of experience.

Not that he’d leave Brighton for Saints. Our bubble has well and truly burst.

If that is what you want to believe, go ahead. Your opinion doesn’t matter

  14. You see a rattle in every pram, Pix!

I was merely making a valid point about Arsenal, mate. No need to react so vociferously.

He was definitely rattled by that suggestion that Eddie Howe could be a contender to take over at spurs in the future.

Like I said. I wasn’t even wumming. Even given HIAG’s fanny fart about Arsenal ‘bombing’ and Emery getting sacked, I genuinely think that could be the next step for Howe.

He'd be a cheaper option for Levy if Poch suddenly left. And taking on an up and coming young english manager would be good PR. That's 2 boxes ticked from the club's perspective.

I'd be happy if we gave Howe a go at my club if Charismatic Claude were to get the heave-ho ... <ok>

He’d also be willing to work on a budget. Which spurs will need to be able to do especially now they’ve got the stadium to pay for.

I'm not sure Howe would sign up without some guarantee of a decent transfer budget. He'd be setting himself up to fail and wouldn't be worth the risk to his career.
