Sean Dyche is unlikely to be lots of people's first choice because the low block and long balls that he plays just aren't fashionable. In some respects, his approach is sensible, getting the most out of comparatively limited players in the premier league. Wilder (with Sheff Utd at least) and Howe both tend towards styles that are more popular with the public. Arguably though, all three clubs with which these three managers are most closely linked are/were shopping for the same type of players, or in the same bracket at least. Wilder and Howe played more attractive football but, arguably, Dyche has been more successful in keeping his team in the division. Interestingly though, his career win percentage is the lowest of the three, although as most of Wilder's managerial career has been in lower divisions, he can be discounted to some extent. My pick of the three would by Eddie Howe but it would be interesting to see what Dyche would do if he was presented with better players to work with.
