Is there really much difference in that type of manager. I've no idea in how their records compare tbh but they all seem to be in that category of manager that average clubs seem to want

You couldn't imagine the really big clubs wanting these type of managers.

There is a difference in the style of play but not a great deal of difference in the end result in terms of league position. Burnley are very very close to going down imo, their time is running out.

They are but dyce has done a great job in the last few years in fact I would say he's done better than the likes of Howe.

Yet could you imagine if the mags hired dyce instead of Howe there would be carnage lol

There certainly would be. The best person they could have got would have been Allardyce but they are too thick to realize it. <laugh>

I don't see them going down while Dyce Is in charge, though the new ownership might be a shadow over Burnley's future. I believe they have borrowed against the clubs assets , which isn't that good of a sign in new owners.

Dyce is the best of the three IMO.

Sean Dyche is unlikely to be lots of people's first choice because the low block and long balls that he plays just aren't fashionable. In some respects, his approach is sensible, getting the most out of comparatively limited players in the premier league. Wilder (with Sheff Utd at least) and Howe both tend towards styles that are more popular with the public. Arguably though, all three clubs with which these three managers are most closely linked are/were shopping for the same type of players, or in the same bracket at least. Wilder and Howe played more attractive football but, arguably, Dyche has been more successful in keeping his team in the division. Interestingly though, his career win percentage is the lowest of the three, although as most of Wilder's managerial career has been in lower divisions, he can be discounted to some extent. My pick of the three would by Eddie Howe but it would be interesting to see what Dyche would do if he was presented with better players to work with.

Howe has loads of friends in the media, he'll last. Never gets any criticism because of the job he done at Bournemouth.
