Might be time to return to the high street vs. online vendors discussion in the light of recent news stories but for the moment I'll just drop this Sky literacy bombshell on you: please log in to view this image The real story behind Hamilton's move to Mercedes: despite offering Hamilton more pensive contemplation than any other driver on the grid, McLaren's offer just wasn't enough. Either that or they weren't offering enough chewing time. Rookie mistake when dealing with drivers who sound most like a cow.
Well done for propping up a morally decrepit tax-avoiding shark at the expense of decent, hard-working, tax-paying, struggling high-street chains. I hope your trainers are really comfy.
I get my trainers directly from the child slaves that make them. in relation to weight watcher, anyon estupid enough to pay money for someone to tell them how to diet IS a twat, it's easy, eat vegetables and do excercise.

If you got bullied on this forum, would you A) commit suiside or B) leave? Im not trying to offend but the situation seems a bit dumb to me. And also why was a 14 year old girl allowed on a clearly un moderated foreign website?
I doubt it had much to do with the website bullying tbh, these things usually go much deeper and the people effected usually blame the first handy thing they can, rather than the root cause as it's easier to handle that way.
I think you are right on the money. They mention a father but not a mother which I bet is more to do with it.
There's stupidity on both sides of the cyber-bullying debate, mostly because a lot of people talking about it in the public eye don't understand the internet (particularly the media) or don't want to (David Camoron, spelt on purpose). In my opinion it boils down to don't be an asshole in a public place. Websites have terms of service which makes them private (in the same manner as a pub, to use the standard analogy) but for the most part they are open to the public; this site can be accessed by anyone and read freely, and sign-up is limited solely to anyone capable of accesssing it with a valid e-mail account and creating a username/password. That carries with it certain expectations of behaviour. The website the most recent cyber-bullying victim was linked to was a social networking site that's used by plenty of people in a perfectly normal way, and people are calling for a boycott, which is crazy. Miggins raises a valid point that suicidal behaviour probably has a root cause in depression or similar and the role of parents in these sorts of things never does seem to be examined. The fact that she was looking for advice on the internet in the first place is rather testament to how something was very clearly up. That said, does that make it valid to bully someone repeatedly for seeking help? Is it ever justified to tell someone to kill themselves?
People fear what they don't understand, the internet being one of those things. To you and i, the internet is an everyday thing, an essential tool to survive in the modern age, to an older generation (such as politico's) it's something alien, and the default mechanism for a politician is to try and outlaw something they don't understand.
Ok she was mentally ill by the sounds of it... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rolled-say-Latvian-website-chiefs-Ask-fm.html she trolled herself
98%! They say only 4 others posted offensive messages so she did 196 herself? Assuming thats true its a pretty horrific form of attention seeking. Another grim thought is that it was the sister or someone else in the same house....
What an absolute travesty of journalism they ask a lorry driver what he thinks, and simultaneously publish something that appears to exonerate someone of blame and call them a "vile internet troll" in the same breath.
Well Im sure some people on the old 606 forum used to troll themselves for attention so I can believe this to be true. The Human Condition always amazes me.
