As much as Bernie is a dispicable lying corrupt tosser, I do fear that when he's gone whoever takes over will have no ties to F1 and will see it as nothing more than a cash cow entertainment spectacle.

Basically another Bernie?

I had a thought at lunch..... Is it possible some oil rich nation has paid off his bill for him in trade for a spot on the calendar?

I cant see why Bernie would be certain he is not guilty yet be so happy to let a large sum of money go out of his pocket?

Yea, highly likely aint it, the little s**t is well in with all those types, it really pisses me off he's walked away from this. I wonder if I can find a rich Arab to pay my speeding fine and take the points.

When you're worth billions, 60 million isn't anything to lose sleep over. He'll likely recoup it via whatever shenanigans take place in the coup about to be pulled on F1.
