I've never found a good American beer - draft or bottled. It's like weasel piss, the stuff I've tried at least. Can you recommend some you like DBT in case I've never heard of them ? Cheers.

There is a brewing revolution in the USA, they have a real problem with finding original names for their ales, theres that many.

I will have a look next week and let you have some to look out for.

    Crikey!
Obvioulsy don't do the standard crap. (Budweiser is made of rice...I mean who the **** would do that. Too filling!)
I like American IPAs though. Ideally the stronger ones (for the flavour obviously!)
Lagunitas (Chicago I think) Goose Island (also Chicago) or anything by Flying Dog (Raging Bitch is a favourite)
Basically any strong US IPA, which are totally different to U.K. IPAs
Brooklyn do a nice range as well beyond their standard

Cheers Omega - have to admit I haven't been "darn sarf" for 6 or 7 years now, so definitely out of touch.

Thanks - I'll check around & see if they stock any of your suggestions here in the North. Never come across any of those you mention.

Czech Bud is very nice lager. American Bud is for people who don't like beer.

Like Greek food, and the long, leisurely way they take over meals. Couldn't understand Brits in Corfu heading to eat British food. Though, perhaps because it was different, the local kids flocked to McDonald's.
Was in Lidl today, Greek and Iberian week. Stocked up on a few Greek and Portugese things.
