Eat **** and die Chappaz - My thoughts on the Swansea game

disappointed by obertan and jonas they were both poor yesterday, santon was excellent, perch was solid, tiote was also quite poor but probably rustiness and i could of strangled pardew for bringing shola on instead of ben arfa

 

Madness, he was shocking in the 2nd half and very average in the first. For every good thing he did, he did 2 bad afterwards. He did nothing good in the 2nd half.

 

I don't know what the sport of Obertan's home planet is, but it isn't football! Possibly the most shocking footballer to appear for the club, but because he's athletic (sorry, but I've yet to see this lightening pace everyone keeps telling me about...) we seem to let him off. His work rate is good, but for me I'd take Routledge back down that side over him quite happily.
Seriously, Routledge is quick, works just as hard as Oberflan, can shoot, can pass, can cross... Why the heck did we sell him and get stuck with this flop? Are we trying to improve our fanbase on an intergalactic level?
The only positive of Obertan is that he's bigger and thus better at heading when we play hoofball. Very disappointed with him.

Jonas was pretty shocking too, I'd give them both 4.5/10.

Perch, for me, was outstanding and certainly worth an 8 of anyone's rating... He covered for Colo well, snuffed out attack after attack, and was generally a very good defender. Perhaps the lad has found his niche!
